Champion Dance Floors are precision-crafted!

Wood surface and base
Champion Dance Floors fabrication begins with a single sheet offlawless birch or maple veneer which is fused to a 13-ply, premium quality hardwood base to form the individual panels. Each panel is precision-machined to a 1/64th" tolerance so that it can be perfectly aligned to its sister panel. Then the panels are sealed on the top, bottom and sides with commercial grade polyurethane.

Foam Padding for Sprung Support
Next, high-quality foam pads are placed one foot apart from eachother across the entire under surface of each panel. This provides uniform cushioning no matter where the dancers steps. Unlike aluminum-frame floors that are rigid along the edges of each pane land soft in the middle, Champion Dance Floor panels provide "evenspring" no matter the dancer steps, lunges orjumps. This cushioning design results in greater comfort and reduced injuries.

Tongue & Groove seams
A unique engineering feature of Champion Dance Floors is its Teflon tongue & groove system. Each panel is routed on all four sides with a 3/16" groove and then Teflon rods spanning the length of twoofthe sides are pinned into the slots. Each rod protrudes half its diameter to form tongue edges. When mated with the grooved edges ofadjacent panels, they produce "tongue & groove" joints that are absolutely snug, thus ensuring a smooth dancing surface no matter where the dancer steps.

Cable-Tuned™ System
The most unique feature of a Champion Dance Floor is its patented Cable-Tuned™System. It consists of a series of high-strength aircraft cables that run beneath each row and column of the floor. They are secured by a special adjustable metal clip along the outer edge of eachperimeter panel. When the cableis tightened, it draws all the panels in each row and column together - fusing the min to a single smooth surface.

The combination of the Veneer Surface, Foam Padding, Tongue & Groove Seams, Teflon rods, and Cable-Tuned™ Tensioning System provides dancers with finest quality performance surface in the entire dance floor industry.
